White has been always symbol of peace and purity.LBD has been classified as a classic in fashion.Now a trend of calling LWD (little white dress) is also taking a new classic stand.

 

The Little White Dress is a great alternative for the classic and exceptionally elegant Little Black Dress. Black is great and it’s chic but it seems too dull in summer when everything is so bright and lively.

White is extremely feminine and very flirty. Wearing it you will always look perfect!

Basically, LWD is just a white dress with the skirt no longer than a knee point. It can be of any style, with any kind of embellishment or adornment. It works for warm weather because it's light, airy, and innocent.  

Christian Dior's  hautè couture spring summer 2012 collection was the main reason for me know about the LWD and its trend. These outfits brings only one thought in my mind that is beauty remains in simplicity. This collection was all  about transparency versus opacity, and of floral embroidery to give the elegance at its utmost level.
I loved the embroidery done on this sheer fabric.The first one is a top and skirt and the other one is a dress with bell sleeves(lovely)

Marion Cotillard was spotted wearing a LWD by Christian Dior and silver heels by Christian  Louboutin  in the premier of dark knight rises.She looks like a ballerina because of this outfit.

 I tried a  sleeveless LWD with printed bottom but didn't get it because its white and i cant keep white stain free.well yes if there's another chance to get a LWD i would definitely get it.
