CUT ON CUTWORK
Today I went to temple and yes at that time i noticed the cutwork on my kurta.This kurta has cutwork
along with emboidery ,piping at neckline and sequin work.i love this outit because of its colour combination it gives me a feeling of going inside a forest i dont know why , may be because of the floral print on the chudidar and dupatta.
Accessories with cutwork have always been my favorite here too the intricate patterns on the Vera Wangs notecards and Nicholas Kirkwood shoes attracted me toward them
Glee’s Dianna Agron wore a laser-cut gown to the Golden Globe awards in shocking red.this work looks like dragon inspired for me. Millie Mackintosh has been spotted wearing a gorgeous sparkly dress with a neckline with laser cut work . and Nicole Richie has been snapped in this leather cutwork top.

Blenders Pride fashion tour 2012 Neha Dhupia wearing Pankaj and Nidhi's collection. I liked this outfit only because of the top and the colour combination copper n black.I felt the bottom is not matching at all. on the whole this outfit is okay for me and i would personally prefer the top with a v neck.

ReplyDeleteTo be noted is that the fabric your kurta is made of is locally termed as Hakoba which is a form of eyelet embroidery which is done in fabric form. Generally cutwork on apparel is applied on the garment form where the area for cutwork is marked on the pattern and then executed.
The visual references you have is mostly laser cut where the edges of the cut work is not bound by thread.
